As interest in lithium grows across the world, Dy6 Stakes Pty Ltd has emerged as a prominent player in the lithium exploration sector. The Australian company holds four ground leases across the Northern Territory of Australia, totaling more than 900 square kilometers and including the Yulara and West MacDonald region.
Dy6 Stakes’ portfolio of ground leases are highly prospective for the presence of lithium-bearing units. The ground has already been extensively explored and it is believed to host potential hidden depths of lithium-bearing units.
The company’s portfolio has been developed in partnership with the Northwest Territorial Resources Group, an Aboriginal Corporation. As part of the partnership, the Northwest Territorial Resources Group has committed to a 10% stake in Dy6 Stakes, with an additional stake of 5% held by a joint venture partner.
The ground leases that Dy6 Stake holds cover a total area of 900 square kilometers and include the Yulara and West MacDonald region, which are jointly subject to a Geoscience Agreement with the Northern Territory Government, under which Dy6 Stakes will be able to undertake unrestricted exploration activities.
The agreement was recently updated to include provisions to acquire additional ground leases. This has added to the company’s existing portfolio, allowing it to gain further access to potential lithological targets.
The Yulara and West MacDonald regions are located in the greater Northern Territory area which is known to be resource rich. Over the past few years, numerous exploration activities have been conducted in this area, indicating the presence of prospective lithium-bearing units.
There is also evidence to suggest that certain units may contain dykes of lithium-bearing pegmatite, a key factor in accessing potentially economic concentrations of lithium mineralization.
Given the company’s highly prospective ground leases, its partnership with the Northwest Territorial Resources Group and its access to exploration activities in the region, Dy6 Stakes is well-positioned to take full advantage of the growing global demand for lithium. With an exciting exploration portfolio and strong team in place, the company is well placed to seize any opportunities that come its way in the near future.
