Brunswick Exploration (TSXV: BRW) is a natural resource exploration and development company operating in British Columbia, Canada.
Recently, Brunswick Exploration has intersected a significant spodumene mineralization within a dyke swarm in its Mirage Property, located in the Similkameen Mining Division of British Columbia.
The spodumene mineralization has been found after intensive exploration and drilling over the past few months. Spodumene is a silicate mineral composed of lithium, aluminum and sodium. It is a major source of lithium, which is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative energy source for many industries and applications.
A total of 10 drill holes were drilled into the dyke swarm containing the spodumene mineralization with some of the significant results reported including 27.00 metres at 2.07% Li2O, 46.00 metres at 0.84% Li2O, and 17.00 metres at 0.69% Li2O.
These results confirm the potential of the Mirage Property for the development of a major lithium resource. Brunswick Exploration is currently in the process to carry out a further drilling program over the dyke swarm in an effort to define a more robust resource estimation.
The company’s main goal is to establish the Mirage Property as an important resource of lithium production for a growing global demand for this element. The market for lithium is expected to grow significantly in the upcoming years, with prices of the material rising too.
Brunswick Exploration is optimistic about the results of its project at the Mirage Property, and the company is confident that they are on their way to establishing the property as a large source of lithium. The company is now focusing on the second phase of their exploration program in order to determine the potential of the property for long-term production.
