The Biden campaign believes this strategy would extend care to millions more Americans and is citing a recent report from the Centers for Health and Human Services that released estimates showing an impending Affordable Care Act repeal could result in 17.8 million uninsured Americans. The Biden campaign insists that if elected, Biden would fully protect and expand upon the law’s gains in providing affordable coverage to millions of Americans. As a result, he plans to restore faith that health care coverage and access are the right of all Americans.
