Pam Signs Formal Documentation to Acquire 100% Interest in 1,200km2 Tama Atacama Lithium Brine Project
Pam Corporation, a leading mining and exploration company, has signed formal documentation to acquire 100% interest in the Tama Atacama Lithium Brine Project in Chile, covering an area of 1,200sqkm.
The lithium-bearing brines in this project are located in the Tama Atacama Salar in Chile, an area rich in natural mineral resources. Pam Corporation has an exclusive option with the owner of the project to acquire the initial 100% working interest in the project and the full set of rights that go with that.
The lithium-bearing brines within the Tama Atacama Salar have been assessed to have an exploration potential that could potentially give Pam Corporation access to sizeable oil and gas reserves. The Tama Atacama project is the second major lithium brine exploration project that Pam Corporation is undertaking, following on from an earlier venture into the Atacama Salt Flats in northern Chile.
