Hertz Lithium Inc. (HLI), an international leader in lithium extraction and exploration, today announced the completion of their acquisition of Canuck Lithium Corp. (CLL).
The deal unifies the two companies and provides a much larger platform to help support and accelerate the lithium industry on a global scale.
The acquisition will enable Hertz Lithium to expand its operations into Saskatchewan, Canada, where Canuck has built an extensive portfolio of mineral properties and exploration projects that will create a meaningful revenue stream in the future. Hertz Lithium will benefit from Canuck’s in-depth expertise in lithium exploration, development, and production.
In a statement, the CEO of Hertz Lithium, Carla Smith, expressed the company’s enthusiasm of the completed acquisition, stating “This is a major step forward in our mission to become the world leader in lithium extraction. We are now able to tap into Canuck’s cutting-edge expertise and existing network, which will allow us to extend our reach into the North American lithium market, and beyond.”
The acquisition will help to further strengthen Hertz Lithium’s presence in the lithium space and give them greater access to North American lithium resources. As the demand for electric vehicles increases, the demand for lithium is expected to skyrocket. This acquisition will give Hertz Lithium the tools and resources it needs to capitalize on the growing industry.
Hertz Lithium Inc. is a Colorado-based company with operations in seven countries spread across four continents. HLI is currently involved in numerous projects, including lithium extraction, exploration, and processing. Through the deal with Canuck Lithium Corp., they are looking to create the world’s largest lithium conglomerate.
