In an interview on “Fox News Sunday”, Meadows discussed the lack of consensus between Republicans and Democrats on spending. “I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think we’re going to have a resolution,” he stated on the air.
Meadows is closely aligned with President Trump and has been a driving force in the contentious debate regarding government funding. Last Friday, Trump reversed his position on the budget bill and urged congressional representatives to come to an agreement.
