“Christie Strikes Back: Fights to Stay in Race, Takes Aim at Trump in New Ads!

In a recent surprise move, former Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey has pushed back on calls for him to drop out of the race for the White House and has taken direct aim at fellow Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump. Christie has launched a major ad blitz against Trump in what has been viewed as a last-ditch attempt to save face in the race and please his supporters. Christie began his campaign with enthusiasm and considerable hype, but his momentum quickly fizzled after a series of gaffes and missteps in the early primary races. This could be seen as a sign of Christie’s growing frustration over the lack of progress in the race. Or it could be viewed as Christie’s final attempt to remain relevant amongst the crowded field of candidates in an increasingly competitive landscape.
